At Tessier Property Group, we’ve partnered with some of the most creative leaders throughout the real estate industry to provide two of the most highly demanded service categories in real estate: Property Staging and Interior Design.  Both services serve as an essential piece to the creative design spectrum of a real estate property, and they both provide a great opportunity to both sellers and buyers, including creating enormous value in equity.  While staging a property is very common in the residential sector, property staging is also a valuable service throughout the commercial sector as well, including in the industries of hospitality, healthcare, corporate, creative, restaurant, retail, exhibition, institution and more. While both services are for a particular type of customer with a specific need, statistics show that the value in each service continues to excel in growth in the many years to come.

What is Property Staging?

Property staging is the visual preparation of a private residence or a commercial real estate space for sale in the marketplace. The goal of property staging is to make a home (or a commercial real estate property) visually appealing to the highest number of potential buyers, thereby, selling the property more swiftly and also for more money.  Property Staging techniques focus on improving a property’s appeal by insuring that it is a welcoming and attractive product that a buyer can see themselves living in, or perhaps operating in from a commercial standpoint, with a desire to purchase.

Property staging involves a keen eye on creativity, crafting, architectural design, resources, quality, taste and an open mind to explore new and endless opportunities that excites and engages a potential buyer. So why is property staging so important? Well, based on the the statistical insights from the National Association of Realtors (NAR), a property that is staged will sell a 88% faster than a property that is not staged, and in most cases even up to 20% more than the listing price.

What is Interior Design? 

While interior design and property staging may share similarities by definition and operation, interior design may also be a bit more of an in depth approach to the transformation and reconstruction of a residential or a commercial real estate property. The art of interior design lasts for more than just the purpose of selling a particular property, but rather to add value in enhancing the property space, building new trends, mirroring the owner’s personality & lifestyle, creating functional rooms, reconstructing square foot dimensions, and so much more. In many cases, interior design will include conceptual development, architectural design, space planning, site inspections, construction management, program engineering, research, and more.

Our Services Our Pricing Rates

While each particular property is different in specification, and each customer has a different need, our prices vary based on the scope of each project, the square footage of a property, and the number of rooms that need to be staged, including exterior locations. As a result, customers can expect to pay between 1-3% of the listing price for all staged properties with production costs included.
